My Story
I moved to New York City from Poland seventeen years ago. My interest in architecture was sparked at a very early age when I developed a passion for drawing floor plans of houses and cities. When it was time to select a career path, architecture was the clear choice. I attended The Bernard and Anne Spitzer School of Architecture in City College of New York and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 2010. Since then, I worked on several residential and educational projects as a lead designer. While at Lauren Rubin Architecture, I oversaw residential renovations, horizontal and vertical combinations and townhouse renovations from the beginning stages of design to final completion. I am experienced in design, building materials and systems, requirements associated with Department of Buildings and Landmark drawing sets and production of detailed construction documents. I also have significant experience with construction administration, which has allowed my projects to consistently meet client imposed deadlines and budgetary restrictions. Personally, I am a problem solver, with excellent organizational skills and a quirky sense of humor. In my spare time I love to dance, travel and take photos of interesting buildings and landscapes.
